# Weekly NFT Lottery

### How it Works

Each brand-new NFT released weekly as part of the "In the Name of INJ" Collection grants you access to the Weekly Lottery Round for a chance to win a Blue Chip NFT from the Top Collections available on Talis.

1. **Access and Tickets**:
 * When you purchase a new NFT from the weekly release, you automatically gain entry to that week's lottery round.
 * The numbered copy of your NFT acts as your ticket number for the lottery.
2. **Lottery Extraction**:
 * The lottery drawing takes place after the weekly minting session (referred to as the "Weekly Candy Machine") concludes.
 * The winning ticket is selected using the "Hey Spinner" Random Number Wheel.
3. **Transparency and Announcement**:
 * The video recording of the lottery drawing will be posted on the official X Twitter Account In the Name of INJ.
 * Once the winner is determined, the transfer of ownership for the NFT prize will be executed.
 * The transaction details will also be posted on the official X Twitter account to ensure transparency.
4. **Unsold NFTs and Jackpot**:
 * If the Weekly Candy Machine minting session does not sell out, and the "Hey Spinner" Random Number Wheel selects an unsold numbered NFT, the prize for that week's lottery will be added to the Jackpot for the following week's Lottery Round.
 * This means that the next week's lottery will have an even Bigger Prize Pool, including the unsold prize from the previous week.

By participating in the weekly NFT lottery, collectors have a fun and engaging way to potentially enhance their collections with highly sought-after Blue Chip NFTs, while also being part of a transparent and community-driven process.

Proceeds from the lottery rounds contribute to the Ecosystem Growth Fund, ensuring ongoing support for the Injective Community.
